Itineraries in Rome

Rome travel information, advice, Vatican hotels, reviews, maps, Rome Tours and itineraries among masterpieces and architectural jewels.

Planning an Itinerary to Rome can be difficult if you are unsure of what to visit: sometimes it’s better to take a Rome Tour. This article gives some insight to some must places of the Eternal City.
Must see places in Rome:

Piazza di Spagna
The most elegant and discrete of Roman piazzas, exceptional scenario for fashion shows and a traditional meeting place for Romans and foreigners. The Fontana della Barcaccia, at the centre, tells a long story of flooding from the Tiber in the city.

Palazzo Spada
The antique facade and the courtyard rendered precious by a game of perspectives to great effect. And then the picture gallery of Villa Giulia, precious and discreet. Via Giulia is long and ordered, like the idea of he who desired to create in the 16th century as transportation artery in the quarter of the Tuscan bankers in the city.

Foro Romano
The ancient Forum of the citi boasts a multi century history and conserves the signs of a progressive sedimentation of ages and cultures. Its principal monuments are described in the plan.

Ponte Sant’Angelo
A walkway of angels which look down as you walk across the bridge, the memory of a past time in which the castle was a place of imprisonment and suffering.

Our fully-furnished apartments are the best alternative to standard Rome hotel accommodation, and located in prime spots and close to the monuments and to the underground.
